Lumshory in Zakarpattia — vats and waterfalls to suit all tastes
Travelling in Zakarpattia can lead to a wide variety of places — steep waterfalls, mirror lakes, ancient castles, caves formed by nature, ski slopes and much more.
However, don’t forget about relaxing your body. For this purpose, you can visit the mineral water vats in the village of Lumshory, located on the Turychka River in the Perechyn district of the Zakarpattia region.
The population of Lumshory village is just under 100 people, but it is known far beyond the borders of Zakarpattia. The fact is that the oldest resort in the region has been operating here since the 17th century, where all the local nobility used to come to rest. Recreation in Lumshory did not depend on the weather, and therefore it gained more and more popularity over time.
Lumshory is a small village, but it knows how to organise a good holiday. There is even a vat with a diameter of 3.2 m that can accommodate up to 15 people. There is also a place for a comfortable sleep — on the territory of Lumshory village there are recreation centres “Lumshory” and “Hunting estate”, hotel “U Tsimbora”, cottage “Lumshory Eden”, estate “Vodohrai”, etc.
An interesting addition to the effect of healing vats can be apitherapy, as it has long been proven that bees have a positive effect on the human body. For this purpose, a nearby apiary is used, but the best effect can be achieved by using a hive as a bed. Of course, a person should know if they are allergic to bees.
